Dear Heavenly Father, I thank you for the job you have graciously given me. I acknowledge that it is from your gracious hand and not just the result of my own skills, talents or abilities. I thank you, Lord, for you have provided me with the opportunities, resources, skills and talents for the job. Please help me not to put my trust in people and their opinions about me. Help me remember that you are my ultimate boss and to completely trust you for my providence. Help me not to be a people-pleasing person and help me not to act in fear of man, but fear of God. Lord, I thank you that nothing can happen to me without your permission. I thank you that your loving-kindness and mercies are new every morning, and that is what keeps me going. Be with me and help me live without worry and anxiety at work. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen.
