Dear Heavenly Father, I come to your throne of Grace, seeking your mercy. Please forgive me for the sins which I have committed, with my thoughts, words and deeds. Forgive me for the sins of commission and ommission. Forgive me for not using the gifts, talents, treasures, time, money and opportunities you have given me for your glory and to advance your kingdom, as much as I should. Cleanse me from all my iniquities and give me a clean heart. If there is any unforgiveness in my heart towards others, please help me forgive them completely, as you have forgiven my sins. Help me not to grieve the Holy Spirit indwelling in me. Help me to stay focused on you and not the things of this world. Help me stay strong during trials and temptations. Help me fight the good fight of faith. Please restore the joy, peace and blessings that I have let the devil steal, because of my wilful disobedience and sins. Have mercy upon me, cleanse me and heal my Spirit. In the precious name of Jesus, I pray, Amen.

1 Corinthians 10:13 - There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear [it].
Lamentations 3:22 - “It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.”
Psalms 103:10-14 - He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
Ephesians 4:32 - And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
Matthew 6:15 - But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
