Dear Lord, I come to you with a humble heart to seek your help in overcoming the temptations I may face today. Please help me live obedient to you in the face of temptations and give me victory in the most powerful name of Jesus. Please help me not to be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. Please help me not to grieve the Holy Spirit within me by committing any form of willful sin. Let your Word and grace transform me and make me more like Jesus even as I seek to walk in obedience. Whenever I feel tempted to sin, please bring your living Words to my mind to fight the battle and win. In Jesus' most precious name, I pray, Amen.

James 4:7 - Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

Romans 12:2 - And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
