How to be patient as a Christian?

Remember that all well-doing will be rewarded

If you patiently bear something for the sake of God or your testimony for Christ, you can be assured that it will be rewarded in heaven. No good thing you did for God will go unnoticed.

Galatians 6:9 - And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

Don't compare your life with others

Christians cannot and should not compare their lives with others, especially unbelievers. We are set apart from this world and our lives can't be in the pattern of this world.

Psalms 37:7 - Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass.

Fix your eyes on Jesus and your Eternal Inheritance

When we keep looking at our circumstances, people and struggles, we lose sight of the reality that this world is temporary. This is where impatience and intolerance creep in.

Romans 8:25 - But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
