Prayer for Planning and Goal Setting

Dear God, I come to you seeking your divine wisdom to understand what you want me to accomplish with the gifts, talents, opportunities, time, money and other resources you have given me. Please help me plan effectively and set God honouring goals and targets. I can do nothing without your grace and strength. Help me fulfil your purpose for me today and all the days of my life. I surrender my plans, desires, goals, wishes and wants to you, God. Help me align my desires with yours' and live a life that pleases you always. Let your purposes prevail, and your plans come to pass in my life. In Jesus' most precious name, I pray, Amen.

James Chapter 4

13 Go to now, ye that say, today or tomorrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain:

14 Whereas ye know not what [shall be] on the morrow. For what [is] your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

15 For that ye [ought] to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth [it] not, to him it is sin.
